The site was developed by Mike Morellato who currently resides in Kelowna, BC (Canada). He has a dedicated interest in a wide variety of sustainable tourism issues, and realizes the importance of viable solutions with the rapid growth of the global tourism industry. He has travelled primarily within North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.
Mike holds a Bachelor's Degree in Geography - Environmental Specialty (Simon Fraser University), and a Master's Degree in Environmental Science (Mid-Sweden University). His thesis was focused on working with indicator frameworks to move towards a more sustainable form of mass tourism, specifically for Olympic Games planning. Mike also holds a certificate in Spatial Information Systems (from SFU) and currently works with the Clean Air Foundation.
