SustainableDestination.org was developed to open discussion on the variety of ways that we as humans can move towards more sustainable tourism practices, from the perspective of the professional planner to the common traveller. The goal of this site is to explore, debate and disseminate knowledge on the many topics surrounding sustainable tourism today. From formal research to casual advice, I hope this site will spark more discussion on this very important and ever-growing industry. There are many definitions and realms of "sustainable tourism," and this site attempts to cover a wide variety of them.
